Jacqueline was born in Stratford, New Zealand and has been designing clothing since a very young age. As a talented designer Jacqueline has spent many years crafting her talent for Fashion & Textile design and apparel development while working in Tokyo, Paris and Los Angeles, eventually finding her way back home to Hamilton, New Zealand.
Jacqueline pulls inspiration for her collections from the aesthetics of elegance, femininity, nature as well as from fashion's vintage haute couture of bygone eras.
Jacqueline is a passionate person when it's comes to our carbon footprint, and making sure our planet is in a better place moving forward, by building a luxury brand based on the "Circular Economy" Principles, which is a rejection on our current "Take, Make, Waste” industrial model were resources are extracted, goods manufactured with those resources, and then discarded.
The "Circular economy" we are striving for contains three main things “design out waste and pollution, keep products and materials in use, and regenerate natural systems”.
All our products are made from Biodegradable natural fibres of organic cotton, pearl silks and wool. We are building a plastic/ polyester free business, with an emphasis on replacing what we use. Having zero waste from our fabrics as scraps are turned into dolls and doll clothing and other curious items, which are then donated to charities.
Jacqueline is also a keen rugby coach when time permits, and a bit of a fan of the All Blacks rugby team.
