Humberto Cubides is a colombian fashion designer, with more than 10 years of experience in the fashion industry. He created his brand with the portmanteau form from parts of his last names, CUBEL in 2015. His professional training has been combined with artistic disciplines and the artisan legacy that he found in the nursery school. This relationship has allowed him to open his creative mind to experiment with different fashion concepts. Managing to find his own style and inspiration as a freelance designer. His personal experiences, trips and cultural mixes, designed the essence of the brand's DNA. proposing an urban concept with multicultural mixes: from the samurai of ancient Japan, warriors of ancient cultures and pre-Columbian stories from South America.  

Since the creation of the firm, the brand has been present in different fashion spaces and commercial platforms. Colombiamoda 2017 and 2018, winner of the Young Creative Chevrolet 2018, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week El Salvador 2018, closing of the Automobile Fair in alliance with Camaro ZL1 2019, the Thai Silk International Fashion Week in Bangkok 2019, Bogotá Fashion Week 2019 and the digital version of China Fashion Week 2020.  

The vision shown on his designs, positions it as a firm that projects international design with the stamp of a part of Colombian heritage. His ideas han focused on creating fashion pieces with an artisan influence that goes beyond the traditional and a masculine aesthetic that takes risks. The firm reaches a very specific client: people who value the artistic, with characteristics that visually transcend; in addition to narrating stories with handmade in embroidery, fabrics, painting, graphic and conceptual abstractions that are printed on sensitive materials, which end up elevating each garment with contrasts and textile experiments that emerge with an absolute character. The collections will always have as the mainstay, the color black. that minimalist insignia that allows you to create with greater details and deconstructed silhouettes with volumes of Asian design. The accessories go hand in hand with the brand closing that creative stamp that adorns every story of Cubel design.

Each piece is a modern and alternative interpretation that always seeks to exalt the craft, applying and mixing different techniques, we create textures

inspired by nature for men and women who seek and want to express their strength and personality. This project is designed for modern, urban and

avant-garde people.

The creative processes are in constant evolution; through millenary cultures, the textures, designs, colors and forms; creative work with women artisans

of Zipaquirá, strengthen the power of the garments. These are the reflection of the tradition in the handling of the garments as a tool of expression, as a

form of communication and inclusion. It looks for a fashion concept that helps its clients to develop a sense of fashion through uncommon garments, with

design, handmade finishes and high quality materials. Take artisan techniques and present them in a contemporary concept.

We have four sales channels: a showroom located at the address: CALLE 70 #8-18 OFIC 101 - QUINTA CAMACHO. Bogotá D.C. In this space

customers can receive advice from the creative director and designer Humberto Cubides, also allows customers to identify with the brand in a very
