Rina Dhaka is known as a designer for women WHO THINK. She is referred to as the Gautier of East by BBC, as she is known as a fashion crusader whose trademark lies in combining traditional Indian Garments with 20th-century modern fabrics like lycra and jersey. 

She has won the "Best Designer " award at the Miami Fashion Week 2004. She is also the recipient of the Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award  Yuva rattan Award & has also represented India at the Indian Promotions at Galeries Lafayette in Paris and Inters Off in Germany.

Her work is exhibited across the world at The Louvre, Paris; The Metropolitan Museum, New York; London; Mauritius; South Africa; Dubai; Singapore; Hong Kong & USA.
