That journey will reach one of the world’s most visible crossroads on October 9, 2026, when Muhayo Aliyeva represents Uzbekistan at World Fashion Exhibition® Times Square 2026 at Father Duffy Square in New York City.
Presented by World Fashion Week® in partnership with Fashion Week Brooklyn / BK Style Foundation, the international program will unite fashion and cultural representatives from more than 50 countries.
For this historic presentation, Muhayo Aliyeva will create a special sustainable couture look using natural and traditional fabrics, bringing the colors, techniques and cultural identity of Uzbekistan into the heart of Manhattan.
The creation will appear during the international “Unity of Humanity” Grand Finale, where participating nations will come together through sustainable couture in a symbolic celebration of cultural diversity and global unity.
In Times Square — a place where cultures, languages and people from around the world meet every day — Uzbekistan’s centuries-old textile tradition will become part of a contemporary global conversation.
One Creation, A Greater Purpose
The story will continue beyond the runway.
Following the World Fashion Exhibition® presentation, Bibi Hanum’s special couture creation will be donated to the World Fashion Exhibition® international online charity auction, transforming craftsmanship and creativity into an instrument for social impact.
The initiative reflects a philosophy shared by Muhayo Aliyeva and World Fashion Exhibition®: that fashion can be beautiful while carrying a deeper responsibility.
The 2026 international program will also highlight “Give Your Light to the World – One Drop, One Life,” the humanitarian initiative dedicated to raising awareness and support for access to safe drinking water for children and underserved communities across Africa.
