This recognition celebrates more than five decades of visionary work by Héctor Vidal Rivas, devoted to the advancement of fashion, culture, and social inclusion. As founder and director of VIDAL RIVAS Producciones and Argentina Fashion Week, he has transformed Buenos Aires into a vibrant capital of innovation and international fashion, offering both established and emerging designers a platform to share their creativity with the world. His leadership and vision have made Argentina Fashion Week a symbol of elegance, craftsmanship, and Latin American cultural identity.
Throughout his distinguished career, Héctor Vidal Rivas has been honored by the Legislature of Buenos Aires as a “Distinguished Personality of Culture” and has used fashion as a powerful medium for artistic expression, empowerment, and social transformation.
