Jaime Luna is a representative icon of Panamanian culture, a fashion pioneer and founder of the School of Fashion Design at the University of Panama. He is President of the Fashion and Arts Foundation, with the mission of highlighting the value of entrepreneurial artisans and designers. 

Currently, he runs one of its greatest strongholds with his Jaime Luna Fashion House, with which he has presented his collections in international markets and platforms in Asia and Europe. It promotes haute couture workshops, in a social program of great impact, known as “Entrepreneur Women, Safe Women" in a strategic alliance with the Municipality of Panama City and the Ministry of Culture of Panama. 

Jaime Luna has contributed to the development and implementation of Panamanian fashion throughout the years, as well as its international reach and impact, with a specific focus on promoting and supporting local and low- resource artisans, thus providing new socioeconomic tools and development in the creative industry of Panama.
