In 2015, Rhamos was one of the founders of the Wewiku Wehali Cultural Association, established together with Nina Leong and Ametha Body. Rhamos has contributed to choreography and the preparation of dancers, helping bring traditional Timorese performances to audiences beyond the country. Wewiku Wehali has also achieved recognition in cultural competitions, including winning first place at the 2016 Air Timor Fair Trade dance competition.

International Recognition
Rhamos’s work has increasingly gained international attention.
In January 2026, he presented his designs at the AFDS × Silk Road International Fashion Week in Foshan, China, where he received the prestigious Master Craftsman Designer Award.
The award recognised his artistry, craftsmanship and ability to translate East Timorese cultural heritage into contemporary fashion. His collection was noted for its intricate detailing, strong cultural narrative and confident contemporary execution.
